We have an exciting semester ahead of us for the OHHMS Kitten Bands.
The Symphonic Band will compete at UIL Concert and Sightreading. In preparation, we will have our annual Pre-UIL Clinic. Remember, participation in the clinic and in the contest is REQUIRED not only to meet the TEKS for the course and for your grade, but also to maintain trip eligibility!
TCBDA Solo and Ensemble for ALL Symphonic Band(required) students and any sixth graders that want to participate.
The Sixth Grade Band will make their contest debut at the Katy Klassic Band Festival.
The Symphonic Band will be making their trip. Please remember, for all trips students must be passing all classes and have excellent behavior in band, and all Symphonic Band members must have also participated in the Pre-UIL Clinic, UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest, and in Solo and Ensemble Contest in the spring.
Finally, all bands will perform at the Spring Concert, to cap off the end to a great year!
